Buh-flies

Today we took a trip to the Frederick Meijer Gardens to see the butterfly exhibit. Jacob was really excited to go see the "buh-flies"! We went with Matt's grandma, G.G. and my mom, Lolo. Here's a few pictures I snapped while we were there.

We found a tree that looked like Lolo's hair. Tehehehe.

These butterflies were my favorite! It's hard to tell from the picture but they were significantly bigger than an average butterfly. They also didn't like to land so I chased them around for a long long time before I was finally able to catch this one!

New Year

Happy New Year 2011. It has to be better than last year, right?

I have also created a page at the top of this blog with a link to my project so it can be found again easily.

Most of my pictures will probably be of Jordan. I already take a picture of him every day. So if nothing else exciting happens that day, that will be my go to picture :-) It's so fun to watch how much a baby grows and changes in their first year of life. I am so glad I am nutty like that because I have thoroughly enjoyed looking back at all of the pictures of Jacob's first year.

Project 365

Most people know that I am crazy, especially when it comes to pictures. I have decided to join Project 365 next year. If you aren't familiar with that, it is a challenge to take a picture every day for a year. Seeing as how I already do this anyway (a picture a day for the first year of my kids lives) it shouldn't be too bad. That will take me to the end of September :-)
