Five Question Friday 7/6/12

1. Is love at 1st sight possible?
Yes. While I don't believe in romantic love at first sight, I know that love at first sight is entirely possible. I know this because I have experienced it. And there is no greater love than that.

   

2. How did you choose your pet's name?
As we were driving home with our new little puppy {that we never intended on adopting!} we were just throwing out names. I know I suggested Oliver and got shot down. I don't know what other names we threw out there before I suggested Charlie and it stuck.

3. What are you considering giving up (cable, home phone)?
We already don't have cable or home phone. I'm not sure what else we are giving up at this point. Just trying to do little things to cut back and sell some things we don't use or need.

4. How much do you pay your babysitter?
I am very spoiled and have never paid a babysitter. Nobody besides my parents, my in laws, and my sister in law have ever watched my kids. I'm not sure I would trust anybody else besides family. 

5. How "young" is old enough to babysit?
I don't think there is a specific age but rather a maturity level when it comes to babysitting. They need to be responsible and know how to take care of kids and keep them entertained without just sitting them in front of a TV. That being said, I don't think I'd let anybody younger than 12 babysit and as mentioned before I just wouldn't trust anybody besides family at this point in time. Maybe when the kids are a bit older.
