Warm Fruit Salad

Easy and delicious recipe, perfect for wintertime! It's a family favorite!

Ingredients:
- Can of chunky applesauce (I use Matt's homemade applesauce when available)
- can of apricot halves
- can of sliced peaches
- can of mandarin oranges
- can of pineapple chunks (please ignore the crushed pineapple in the picture)
- can of cherry pie filling
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- cinnamon
(I also add a can of sliced pears)

Directions:
In 9x13 pan, spread chunky applesauce on bottom

Drain and mix the remaining fruit (except pie filling)

Spread over top of applesauce

Spread cherry pie filling on top of fruit

Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle over top.

Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

  1. Have you ever tried making this with fresh fruit? I bet it smells great while baking. Oh and Matt's applesauce looks yummy. I love homemade applesauce because it brings back memories of my childhood.
