Our Trip To The Zoo

Two weekends ago we took our annual trip to Binder Park Zoo to see the animals and feed the giraffes. We have gone every year since 2006, except for some reason last year. So it was Jordan's first time there. And Jacob's first time that he remembers. He was only one and a half the last time we went.

It was a hot day but it didn't feel too uncomfortable for us. The best part was that it wasn't as crowded as it is some days. We were able to see lots of animals and didn't have to wait a long time for things. The boys both liked the petting zoo although one of the goats sneezed and it scared Jordan. Jacob enjoyed brushing the goats at the petting zoo.

The best part of the day for all of us was feeding the giraffes. It took Jordan awhile to warm up to the idea of it but once he did, he loved it. Jacob was all for it right away and loved it too. It is so special to me to be able to share something I love so much with my boys. And to see the joy on their faces too.
